FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
- What are you doing?
When giving therapeutic massage, I’m working through a biofeedback loop with your body. Literally, I’m having a conversation with your body; it tells me where and what to do, not your mouth.
- Where are you from?
15 blocks due West of the office. (Seriously, that’s where I grew up.)
- Where did you study?
I studied at the School of Massage Arts, Springfield, MO. After discovering that continuing education classes were half price for students, I took multiple classes while enrolled in massage therapy school. Through the 11 years of practicing, I’ve had many mentors from around the globe.
- Why do I have to drink so much water after session?
Your stomach only absorbs roughly four ounces of water at a time. So, there’s no need to drink gallons of water. Four ounces every 20-minutes for three hours will help flush toxins released during the massage.
- Do you do in-home/out-call appointments?
Yes, by appointment only.
- How frequently should I get a massage?
Generally speaking, every two weeks and no less than once per month to maintain balance and body awareness.
- Why do I feel it in my feet when you work on my skull?
Everything is connected.
